The World's Greatest Diet For Weight Loss And Health

Yes, Virginia, there is no such thing as the world's diet. Allow me to explain.

First of all, what will be the attributes of the world's diet?

1 This should consist of foods readily available.

2 It will not require any fancy measuring or fastening.

3 It would be easy to follow at a friend's dinner, a fine restaurant or a Mickey Dee's (McDonald's old fuddy-duddies like me ).

4 Not only will aid in weight loss and weight gain, but with overall health.

5 It would be composed of our favorite dishes.

hmmmmmmm! TEACHER! I see the problem!

Ok, you can put your hand down. I see too. This is the "favorite food" thing, right?

Ok, you can put your hand down. I see too. This is the "favorite food" thing, right?

...

Everyone has a different "favorite food" and we will not enter into a gourmet, regional and ethnic cooking. I'll leave that to my daughter and her husband. (Psst! see pictures of my grandkids ?)

...

You see, there is the rub, as my good friend, though a bit older than me, Billy Shakespeare would say.

We are all different. We are different ethnically, environmentally, educationally, genetically (ran out of e's), and, dare I say, sex. All these things are important, because exercise will affect the results of a diet that everyone is trying out.

Hey, there's a good word "try". How many people know that they actually stay on a diet ... especially for the rest of your life? I think we should add another atribut.Najvećih world's diet should be one:

6 You can and will stay on for the rest of your life.

Why do the rest of my life?

Simple. I do not care what you're going on a diet and how well it works. If it does not work, and you stop eating the diet that, over time you'll be right back where you are now wondering where you put this article.

So, to build their "world's greatest diet" we must return to the title of this article, "the world's greatest diet for weight loss and health." I put "weight loss" and "health" there for a reason. There are diets that do not really help you lose weight, there are diets that are not good for your health, and weight loss does not automatically equal health ... especially if the weight loss achieved through diet.

Here we go. It does not really matter what foods you eat. You like apple pie, apple pie, have some. You like popcorn, have some popcorn. Filet mignon? Sure, why not.

look back up a minute. "Diet" is simply a list of foods you eat. In recent decades, the word has gotten loaded down with all sorts of extra things like pancakes on IHOP.Liječnik can give you a "diet" to help you avoid rashes, get over the stomach upset, or even gain weight if that is what is necessary for your health.

If your doctor gives you a "diet" that says that only seven can eat food, he or she would be doing a grave (pun intended) damage. To get the nutrients your body needs for health and weight loss, you have a variety of food ... and that diversity can range from soup to nuts ... or filet mignon! Do not you just eat cabbage. You have to eat cabbage, burgers, biscuits, broccoli, apples, apple pie, chicken, fish, carrots ... you get the idea. You can not deny yourself a lot of food you like, take a lot of enjoyment out of your life, and even damage your health without even losing weight by trying weird fad diets and strange pills that cause your body to act in an unnatural way.

Your own personal "greatest diet in the world" to be the food you normally eat and enjoy eating.

There's got to be, "but" hanging around somewhere!

Absolutely. It's not about what you eat. It is about two things:

1 How much you eat, and

2 How will you live the rest of your life.

You see, weight loss and health is about ravnoteže.Ravnoteža weight loss has been known for years. Eat more calories than you use, the excess gets stored as fat. Try to use more calories than you eat, your body burns fat, and there you have abracadabra weight loss. However, simply cutting calories to the bone denying your body the nutrients needed for health and does not allow for an activity that helps keep the body healthy. Exercise (the way we usually burn extra calories), and continues to eat excess calories not only makes it harder to lose weight, but still creates a situation in which our health can be threatened to the excess anyway.

a balanced program for health and weight loss does not deny you the food you love to eat, it's only task is to understand what you are doing to your body and use some self control and limit, when food is offered or available. As for the exercise side of the equation is concerned, the "exercise" scare people, so let's just talk about the activity. Your exercise program may be in the garden, swimming, cycling, yoga, tai-chi! Or in the garden on Monday, swimming on Tuesday, riding a bicycle on Wednesday, Thursday yoga, and Tai-chi said on Friday

There's an old saying. Keep doing what we were doing, and you'll keep getting what you are getting

makers of diet pills and diet book sellers know that you've got it, so they offer you something that looks to change that no-win jednadžba.Problem is that fact without creating real change in the way you eat and exercise and diet pills and fad diets at best will only temporarily seem to change the actual equation and allow you to lose weight for a short time, if at all. They will not make permanent changes in your life and your health, and their "slimming" effect, if any, will wear out quickly, often leaving in a worse situation than when you started.

article like this is too short to get into all the different aspects of weight loss, diet, exercise and health, but the basic equations are simple. Too much weight can adversely affect your health in many ways. Losing weight in an unhealthy way can leave you as poor condition as they were when you started ... or worse. Combining formal exercise or physical activity with comfortable enjoyment of food-sensitive, so the calorie intake of calories and use can be balanced to result in weight loss, health and lifestyle that will continue to bring benefits for years.
