Top 10 World of Warcraft Pets

If you ever played a Hunter in World of Warcraft, you're constantly on the lookout for a more powerful pet. Although May you have become emotionally attached to the bear or panther you tamed at level 10, there are many creatures that make much better World of Warcraft pets than good old "Mr. Whiskers."

While some pets are better in some situations than others, depending on whether you want a tank or DPS, there are several animals that stand head and shoulders above the rest. Here is a list of the Top 10 World of Warcraft pets whether they are found, their ability modifiers, skills, and whether it would be better tank, DPS, or general pet.

10 Holland Ray

found in Outland, this WoW pet has a body much like a stingray with a long tail and two feathery plumes. It is a crystalline growths and stripes running a series of his body, and all species are brightly colored. Lower beam can be found in Netherstorm and Zangarmarsh, and Shadowmoon Valley (caster stats) with hair like Ray from Underbog, not just the wheel of creation. Lower beam to get a big bonus to health (10%), small bonus to damage (+3%), but is hit with significantly below average armor (-10%) and can be considered as a hybrid DPS / tank at home ljubimcenaglasak DPS. Their big "coolness" factor puts Ray on the lower number 10 over the other above the average of the average pet.

9 Wolf

Wolves are indigenous to many parts of Azeroth and is very popular Hunter pet due to the great variety of skin and places to find them along with their fierce howl and dash skill. Wolves are average damage and health, but are above average (+5%).

8 Crocolisk

crocolisk is a lizard like creature, massive in length, and covered with a thick, heavy scales that run from end of tail to tip of its maw. Mottled green color with yellowish fangs, the beast is supported by six squat legs with webbed feet, each ending in a short, black claws. Crocolisks are usually found near bodies of water, especially in Durotar and Loch Modan, and Wetlands. This World of Warcraft pet can learn to cower, bite and growl, but offer no unique pet skill. Some Hunters are annoyed by the hissing noise they make when sitting still, but their high armor (+10%) can do for it, and their lower health (-5%) if you are looking for dispensing pet.

7 Gorilla

gorillas are only found in Stranglethorn Vale, Feralas, and Un'Goro Crater and can learn to cower, growl, bite, and their unique skill Thunderstomp that harm natural areas and causes a lot of danger. Gorillas are very popular as pets because of the shortage of WoW and fussy diet (fruit and fungi), but their unique skills, medium health bonus (+4%) and damage bonus (2%) are difficult to make a good pet.

6 Wind Serpent

brightly colored, winged serpent with a feathered head - essentially a flying snake. Found primarily in Horde territory, Wind Serpent has a great damage (7%) with average health and armor. What makes the Wind Serpent a special World of Warcraft pet is a lightning breath skill which deals a decent amount of ranged nature damage scales with the hunter's ranged attack power. Besides fighting monsters with low armor or innate nature resistance, Wind Serpent would have been the highest DPS pet. Be careful, many snakes have a brass wheel statistic if you tame them as pets. Stick to those found in the barrens and thousand needles and Feralas just to be on the safe side.
