Sports Nutrition - The Day Before Competition


Sports nutrition is not just a day of competition or training days. What should you do and eat the day before the competition? We will look at buying a day earlier.

Avoid caffeine (coffee, juices, energy drinks) which is known to drain body fluids.

Mental preparation

Experts agree that the day before the competition is more about preparation than it is about training for their sport and sports nutrition. Sports nutrition is just one small part of what you do. I had the pleasure to watch practice the day before the game for a professional football team. They do not have a regular practice. They will do a "walk", rather than to be a half times the normal practice.
